Circontrol’s smart chargers for electric vehicles in the DC Raption series integrate an 8″ touch screen with Zytronic technology—a high-performance, reliable solution designed for outdoor self-service environments.
Iberhermes, Zytronic’s distributor in Spain, selected the 8.5″ ZYBX touch sensor and the ZXY110 controller for this project—chosen for its EMI noise immunity technology and gesture recognition functionality. Additionally, the screen incorporates UV and IR filters for thermal management of the terminal and protection of the underlying display.
Xavier Bel, Director of Iberhermes, explains the project: “We have a long-standing relationship with Circontrol and are delighted to provide the customized touch screen solution for their latest Raption series chargers. We worked closely with Zytronic to design a custom printed touch screen that met all project requirements.”
